During our recent family trip to Chalet La Barme, we found it to be a perfect choice for a cozy getaway. Just a short walk from Les Houches Ski Resort, the proximity to the ski lifts made it easy for us to hit the slopes every morning. Our kids absolutely loved sledding nearby, which added a nice variety to our winter activities. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful welcome gift of a huge box of chocolates, which the kids eagerly devoured. We appreciated the smooth check-in process and the welcoming atmosphere provided by the family-run staff, who were always available to answer our questions or offer suggestions for local hikes. We also enjoyed the convenience of a well-equipped kitchen, making it straightforward to prepare family meals, though the option for a simple breakfast tray served to our room was a real treat on lazy mornings. With comfortable beds and a safe environment for our family, Chalet La Barme truly became our home away from home during our adventure in Chamonix. We’ll be returning for sure, not just for the stunning views of Agui di Midi but also for the warmth of the hospitality we experienced.
